Karel Abraham (born January 2, 1990 in Brno, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech motorcycle racer. He competed in the Moto2 World Championship in the 2010 season. Abraham and his Cardion AB team moved up to the MotoGP class for the 2011 season, riding a Ducati.[1] Despite criticism of Abraham "buying" his way into MotoGP having never been a front runner in the support classes,[2] Abraham took his first podium at Twin Ring Motegi and then won his first Grand Prix at the 2010 season-ending Valencian Grand Prix.[3]
